Favorite Places to Wine and Dine: The St. Regis Bar Atlanta

The first visit was during October of 2013 during a Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate Conference. We were invited to a private tour of the St. Regis Residences, which offer unparalleled design and are amongst the coolest bespoke addresses in luxury real estate. Once the tour was over, Who's Who members wandered over to the St. Regis Bar for a nightcap. A few of us shared a bottle of cab from Stag's Leap Cellars, called, The Hands of Time. It was a 2012 vintage and seemed appropriately matched with the dark leather and rich wood surroundings of the bar.

The actual bar has an original and quite stunning mural of a Phoenix rising from the ashes. The St. Regis Bar is also famous for the best Bloody Mary in Atlanta! So, here's to the West Paces Mary, where Timeless Tradition Meets Modern Interpretation.

The atmosphere inside is really laid back and relaxed. It's a comfortable place to unwind and our server was very friendly and charming. The drinks are expensive, but the ambiance is worth it! The patrons were a variety of ages, dressed in a sophisticated, but casual attire.

And if neither the Wine or Bloody Mary tickle your taste buds, then there's always the very special Woodford Reserve 2012 St. Regis Special Selection 3.0 bourbon, Handcrafted exclusively for St. Regis in Atlanta by Woodford Reserve Distillery and said to be distinctive and robust, featuring prominent vanillin flavors.

For some, the evening ended fireside on the patio. And although it was too dark for a good iphone image, here's one in the daylight.

And most certainly, you'll want to turn back the hands of time while you're here! Louis Pasteur said, "A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world."
